Shelomith Learning Center, Inc. is a non-sectarian, non-profit educational institution located in the heart of Barili, Cebu, offering a progressive and value-driven academic environment from Pre-Elementary to Senior High School. Founded by educators Mr. Reno A. Ewican and Mrs. Ana Maria C. Ewican, the school began as a preschool within the family’s residence, guided by a passion for quality, child-centered education.
Since its humble beginnings, Shelomith has evolved into a thriving academic community. The institution now operates from two purpose-built campuses along H. Alquizola Street, Poblacion, Barili, Cebu:
One building houses the Pre-Elementary and Elementary Departments

Registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on March 20, 2002, Shelomith Learning Center is committed to its mission as a non-stock, non-profit organization that prioritizes educational excellence, holistic development, and character formation.
The name Shelomith was lovingly chosen in honor of the founders’ first-born daughter. Derived from a biblical context, Shelomith means “heaven above,” symbolizing the school’s aspiration to uplift students through values-based education and lifelong learning.
With over two decades of service, Shelomith continues to nurture well-rounded learners through a progressive curriculum, competent educators, and an inclusive learning environment that reflects both local relevance and global standards.
